These 3” foam balls are completely covered with size 15 Japanese seed beads. Peyote with increases was used. This is a very time consuming and challenging project. Not a good beginner’s project if you have not done Peyote before. The trick to these balls is to start at the top/bottom and make 2 separate pieces, then join in the middle. A tight tension is required to get a round shape. A looser tension results in a equally attractive oval ornament.
